These new devices have been nicknamed ‘nanodrones,’ and the processing power means they can navigate with incredible accuracy. Images captured can be compressed instantly to reduce the use of memory.
Drones are already being used in hundreds if innovative ways, such as delivering vaccines to remote areas in the developed world. Leaps forward in technology mean there will be another wave in the drone revolution, with artificial intelligence and robotics making professional drones even more powerful.
