The 2016 Drone Safe Register Awards are here… 

Drone Safe Register (DSR) is very excited to announce that we have launched our annual Drone Hire awards 2016.

DSR is the UK’s NUMBER 1 website for drone hire.  All our UAV pilot members can be easily found on our home page.  We have some of the best safe and legal drone pilots available across the country.

And with that in mind DSR is launching its annual awards to commend and celebrate our members’ outstanding contribution to the UK’s thriving drone industry.

We have some fantastic trophy awards to reward our members .  There are 5 categories to showcase their world class commercial drone work.

Here are the Awards Timeline & Competition Rules of Entry:

1. Competition entry is open to DSR Pro Members only

2. DSR invites all photo and video category submissions entries from 12^th November 2016

3. Closing date for all category submission entries is the 30^th November 2016

4. All Judging Polls start 1^st December 2016

5. All Judging Polls end 20^th December 2016

6. All Category Awards winners announced 21^st December 2016

7. DSR 2016 Trophy Awards dispatched to winners 22^nd December

Here are The 5 Drone Safe Register 2016 Awards Categories:

1. The DSR Film & Television Aerial Imagery Award – Which DSR members’ drone work that featured on TV or in a Film, wowed its viewers the most?  We are looking to award the DSR member with the best Film or TV aerial imagery of 2016.  Members, please enter by posting your film/TV example video entry on the DSR Twitter feed (@DroneSafeReg) or on our Facebook wall (@dronesaferegister).  Please tag your video tweets and posts with the hashtag #DSRfilm&tv2016

2. The DSR Best Commercial Drone Application Award –  We are looking to award the DSR member who has applied the best use of drone technology in the field of UAV mapping, surveying or aerial inspection work.  Members please enter by posting your commercial drone example video entry on the DSR Twitter feed (@DroneSafeReg) or on our Facebook wall (@dronesaferegister).  Please tag your video tweets and posts with the hashtag #DSRdroneapp2016

3. The DSR Best Showreel Award – Which DSR members’ showreel impressed the nation the most?  We are looking to award the DSR member who has produced the most outstanding showreel of 2016.  Members please enter by posting your showreel video entry on the DSR Twitter feed (@DroneSafeReg) or on our Facebook wall (@dronesaferegister).  Please tag your tweets and posts with the hashtag #DSRshowreel2016

4. The DSR Best Drone Photo Award – The best aerial photo of 2016 shot by a DSR member.  Shot and shared on Twitter or Facebook. Members please enter by posting your photo entry on the DSR Twitter feed (@DroneSafeReg) or on our Facebook wall (@dronesaferegister).  Please tag your photo with the hashtag #DSRphoto2016

5. The DSR Best Customer Satisfaction Award – Which DSR member provided the nation with the best service and received the best customer feedback?  This category requires no entry from our members. The DSR team will scan all our members’ reviews and award the member who we believe is the best DSR pilot service provider of 2016.

Once the entries have been received by the 30^th November, the photo and videos entries will be posted on a dedicated awards webpage on the DSR website from the 1^st December. Also from the 1^st December look out for the photo and video polls that we’ll be launching to let the public decide the winners.

DSR shall actively be marketing the award polls to encourage the nation to get involved, check out our members’ aerial imagery and, of course, to vote for their favourite drone photos/videos in the various awards categories.
