The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are inviting all drone users from the south west and south coast to attend their first ever free drone safety day at Compton Abbas airfield.
This first major new event will be held on Saturday 11th November 2017.
Jonathan Nicholson of the CAA writes,
Attendees will be given the chance to see for themselves the range of flying opportunities that exist in their local areas, as well as receive top tips on how they can use their drones responsibly, enabling them to expand their love of flying,
The CAA will be on hand at the event to provide up to date information on the UK regulations covering drones.
Also attending will be Nats, Yuneec, UAVision, V-Mach Media and Phantom Flight School.
The event will start at 10:30am and free refreshments will be available throughout the day.
This free event is by pre-registration only and places are limited. They will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis.
