Founded in 1996 Matt Cant Photography is an award winning provider of a wide range of Commercial Photographic and Aerial Photography services within the Architecture, Construction and Tourism sectors. We specilise in Tourism specific flights, Walk-Through flights, Construction related aerial inspections and video edits specilising in viral videos and high resolution stills for Tourism, Construction and Architecture operations in the UK. Matt has a wealth of experience in professional photography and a great understanding about drones and how the new technology can be best deployed to achieve the right shots for our clients. Our first aerial shoot was a harnessed commercial shoot for Fred Olsen Cruiselines from helicopter in 2005. More recently clients are demanding indoor flights with lightweight specilist drones that can be flown precisely in safety modes and can be deployed in much smaller areas.

We can capture stills up to 48mp and broadcast-quality video up to 5.4K Cinema-DNG. Our aerial work is carried out using the latest 'Drones' so we are able to work in areas that full size helicopters or fixed-wing aircraft cannot fly and consequently offer greater operational flexibility and safety for low level work from 2ft to 400ft.

We hold a valid Civil Aviation Authority Operational Authorisation ( UAS12514) to conduct UAS aerial work in The Specific Category and have professional indemnity and public liability insurance for up to £5 million in place, both legally required to operate Drones within UK airspace. We also hold the latest OfQual level 4 qualifications and A2CofC certificates. Our OA also permits us to fly at night and we are also able to to fly in restricted areas. We can offer restricted area flights subject to an (NSF) Non standard flight application to the CAA.

A full risk mitigation and assessment service is carried out prior to any flight.

We can quickly and easily deploy at short notice and are able to take off from almost any reasonably sized space, making this type of photography perfect for low level shots and exacting tasks where alternative photographic capture methods are unsuitable.

We hold a valid Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Operational Authorisation in the sub 25kg category to conduct aerial work, required to operate UAS within UK airspace.
