 We have CAA permission to operate day or night. Our equipment is adapted to work in the Lake District – able to operate across the Lake District terrain and inclement weather. We operate a waterproof drone with hydrophobic lenses, meaning we are the only drone company who can operate 24/7 in any weather in the Lake District. Our chief pilot fully DBS checked and is an experienced Lake District fell walker and able to hike with the drone & equipment to film the optimum Lake District shots. We know the Lake District intimately and our equipment is suited to filming in the challenging environment. We are quite happy to carry the drones and associated equipment in tailored backpacks and hike across the Lake District terrain with the film crew to capture the perfect shots.

Being based in the Lake District, gives us the advantage of being able to liaise easily with both The National Trust and The National Park Authority to gain the necessary permissions to film with drones on their land. Our pilots are fully BNUC-S qualified and are also trained camera operators. We hold CAA permission for commercial operation (PFCO) for visual line of sight (VLOS), extended visual line of sight (EVLOS) and night flying. In addition, we also hold the new GVC certificate and the A2 CofC. We are also able to operate in Europe as we hold the EASA A1 A3 qualification and are also registered in Luxenburg. We are particularly at home working with film crews, TV companies, news channels, and advertising agencies. We hold night flying permission from the CAA (the only drone operator in Cumbria & the Lake District with this), so we are the natural choice for any filmmaker, news channel or journalist wishing to hire the services of a professional drone operator needing to film or cover a news event at night in Cumbria & the Lake District.
