MerlinWorks is an approved commercial drone operator holding a CAA issued Operational Authorisation (CAA ID UAS5556). We have a wide range of aerial capabilities, including:

•High resolution video and photo camera

•Heavy lift capability for larger camera/instruments

•High zoom capability (x 30 optical zoom)

•Full radiometric thermal imaging 

Our areas of expertise are in detailed inspections, surveying and mapping using aerial platforms. We offer specialist inspectors the ability to control the camera in real time and view via a large high resolution display on-site. We are able to obtain detailed cloud point data through photogrammetry, proving near survey grade relative and absolute accuracy using Ground Control Points (GCPs). This data can be processed to build 3D models and maps, which can be interrogated and integrated into Building Information Management (BIM) systems. 

Taking advantage of the in-house nuclear Safety Case expertise, we are able to assess and justify more complex drone operations on nuclear licenced sites.
