Aerial Scotland Drone photography and video

Fully mobile commercial drone operator based in Scotland.

Using the DJI Inspire 2 X5S with RAW licences and all equipment including a full set of batteries. Also using the DJI Mavic Mini 2 for all areas access and DJI Mavic Air. I use the DJI Mavic Air for use in built up areas, as the Mavic Air original is below 500 Grams, and allows automated mapping and 3d modelling.

Both CAA PFCO and A2 certified, meaning I can work in built up areas and with overhead people where required, still shooting in 4k.

Above: I have undertaken a large number of telephone mast inspections for a major operator, working as part of a team for 5g upgrades. Image taken in Aberdeen Airport during a busy period of traffic within the aerodrome. I use a combination of drones and elevated pole to capture images and video.

Fully mobile with 4x4 and self contained mobile home for remote assignments where required.

Experienced in aerial imaging, 3d mapping of buildings and structures, roof and building inspections, and filming. I have a photographic background so understand the principles of photography to a good degree.

Often clients who call to have a damaged roof inspected also would like 3d models created, this enables them to assess the buildings without actually having to visit the site. Please contact me to see a few examples. Most clients prefer their models to be private, the one below is embedded to enable you to view it, rotate it etc in your browser.

I also operate with a 10 Metre pole with full frame Nikon DSLR on top, this is great for situations such as town planning, and where drones are not currently allowed to operate.

I work for some of the UK's most prestigious estate agents, and undertake a number of assignments for large Scottish sporting estates and country houses each year. The client is provided with a finished, edited video and a minimum of 40 stills from each assignment.

I create 3d models using the DJI Inspire 2 and smaller DJI drone where smaller spaces require a smaller drone. See my models here: https://sketchfab.com/aerialscotland/models
