Broadcasters include National Geographic, BBC, ITV, C4, Netflix and C5 - Via independent production companies like Tern, IWC Media, Boundless, JDP, Bigger Bang, Lion Television, Timeline and Gadabout films.
Freelance Glasgow based cameraman, with extensive experience working with the latest broadcast equipment. Worked worldwide in places like Mayanmar, Panama, the Middle East, America and Australia. I have visited most of Scotlands Highlands and Islands and also work in Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness, I can be based from anywhere else if required.
Aviation I have a huge passion for, Ive flown over 9800 hours P1 and filmed from many aerial platforms including military jets, helicopters, experimental aircraft and microlights. TV Drone Work is an area I have extensive experience in, I have undertaken numerous broadcast jobs as well as surveillance work.
Similar to many Glasgow cameramen I have a full compliment of high end camera equipment including macro kit, DJI Ronin gimbal, ProMedia Gear and Camtram tracks. Arri/Dedo/Kenoflo lights, canon Cine lenses including the CN7 and a full set of cine primes, Sony GM lenses, Camera formats can include Red, Panasonic P2, Sony FX9, Fx3, FX6, FS7mk11, Canon C300, C300 mk11, DJI Inspire 2 drones with various lenses, dual controllers, 4k ProRes SSD licence etc.
Lighting is an area I have a great deal of experience in and can operate and light large set ups in any location from Studios to Caves and in particular I enjoy portraiture lighting. I have a wealth of experience in many industrial, commercial, and maritime environments having worked on oil rigs, ships, factories, exposed coastlines and underwater. The Arts, Science, Documentary and factual TV are areas as a Glasgow cameraman Glasgow drone pilot that I have been involved in particularly for Freemantle Media, Naked, the BBC etc.
