Altivis provides independent professional UAV inspection and imaging services for residential, commercial, estate and heritage properties across Berkshire and the surrounding counties, with UK-wide capability for larger projects and portfolio programmes.

Based at Winnersh Triangle between Reading and Wokingham, Altivis is well positioned to support clients throughout Berkshire, including Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Ascot, Maidenhead, Windsor and the surrounding areas, as well as Hampshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire.

Our primary focus is property inspection rather than general drone photography. We use professional UAV platforms to obtain detailed visual evidence from roofs and other difficult-to-access areas without scaffolding, ladders or unnecessary physical access. This can provide property owners, facilities teams, managing agents and asset managers with a clearer understanding of apparent defects, deterioration and areas that may require further investigation.

Residential UAV roof inspections can help investigate issues including slipped or damaged tiles and slates, ridge and hip defects, flashing and chimney concerns, guttering, visible water-entry routes and general roof condition. Our service is independent of roofing or repair contractors, so Altivis does not benefit from recommending remedial work.

For commercial property, housing, estates and heritage buildings, Altivis can support condition surveys, planned-maintenance programmes, high-level inspections, asset documentation and repeat inspections across multiple buildings. We are particularly interested in working with housing providers, property managers, facilities teams, estates and organisations responsible for larger property portfolios where consistent inspection evidence and repeatable reporting are important.

Altivis also provides thermal imaging and solar PV inspection services. UAV-mounted thermal imaging can assist with identifying thermal anomalies for further investigation, while solar inspections can provide visual and thermal evidence relating to individual modules and arrays. Thermal findings are interpreted within the limitations of the inspection conditions and are not presented as a substitute for specialist electrical, structural or building diagnosis where this is required.

Other services include works-progress monitoring, high-resolution asset imagery, annotated inspection images and structured reporting. For suitable projects we can provide repeat visits to establish a visual record of changes over time.

Safety, regulatory compliance and evidence quality form a central part of every Altivis operation. Flights are planned on a site-specific and risk-based basis, taking account of airspace, people, property, privacy, weather and the operating environment. Altivis carries £5 million public liability insurance, and our Remote Pilot holds a CAA A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) and operates within the applicable UK UAS regulatory framework, with FPV UK Article 16 privileges available where appropriate.
