When DSR founder, Mark Boyt, stood in front of the Dragons undergoing their trademark grilling,
There wasn’t a great deal of time for him to think about the opportunities ahead of him.
“To be truthful, I was so focused on just giving them the information that they were asking for, that I literally almost forgot about what the outcome of it all might be. So I was genuinely gobsmacked when three Dragons declared their hands as being interested in investing!”
There is no doubt that any one of these incredible business people would have brought huge amounts of value and advantage to the Drone Safe Register but if you’d asked us what our dream result would have been before we stepped out of the lift, it would have been to have Peter Jones become part of our team.

When that possibility was put on the table, it was an easy decision to accept his offer of £60,000 for a 40% stake in the business.
We truly believe that Peter, with his wealth of experience and connections in the tech world is the perfect partner to help drive DSR to the next level.
The customary handshake to seal the deal marks the start of an exciting new chapter for us, our members and the future of the drone industry in the UK as a whole.
