DECEMBER UPDATE
It’s been a very busy week with many new pro member registrations.
We have new members joining from all corners of Britain. As the Drone Safe Register grows so do our marketing plans.
Our new stock footage website remit is with our web developers. DSR is excited to update our members that the site is taking shape and is on track for launch in the New Year.
Anybody looking to buy aerial footage will be able to log on and purchase legally shot aerial imagery. Production Companies, producers, editors, design agencies will have the peace of mind that their purchased footage is shot by commercial pilots with the correct credentials in place. Namely, permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and valid drone insurance. Both of these are legal requirements for all UK commercial drone pilots.
The 12 Days of Christmas to Launch on the 13th December
DSR has just signed off on our ‘12 days until Christmas’ campaign. The idea is aimed at anybody looking to buy a drone for Christmas. For each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas we’ll post a new drone safety tip culminating in our main message- Always hire an approved legal pilot.
DSR have commissioned a production company to shoot a short PROPERTY MARKETING promo video on the 13th Dec. They’ll be filming and editing the short promotional film and we’ll post the video on the 31st Dec to kick off the new year.
The UK Drone Show
The DSR team are all set for the UK DRONE SHOW at the NEC in Birmingham this Saturday and Sunday. We are looking forward to joining our training partners Cambridge UAV Academy on their stand (Number 22).

For anybody looking to gain your CAA permission to fly a drone commercially do come and meet the Cambridge UAV Academy team. CUAVA provides CAA-approved drone pilot training which is required by law for all those who wish to fly drones for commercial purposes.
