We are already widely recognised as the UK’s leading network of drone pilots for hire, but Drone Safe Register has so much more to offer. As we move into 2020 a number of new services have already been launched, and there’s much more to come.
Mark Boyt, Drone Safe Register CEO commented: “Our focus will always be on providing safe, legal drone operators for hire, but our members have such a vast range of related expertise we have to make the most of the many opportunities and to meet the needs of our clients.
As well as network of drone experts we’ve developed contacts across a range of industries needing ground-based video and photography. Aerial photography and video is our foundation, but we can now offer a more complete service.”
Drone hire alone is of course a diverse area. Drone Safe Register members are booked for everything from drone roof inspections for Loss Adjusters to aerial photography for estate agents. As commercial drone hire becomes more popular and public perception of the capability grows we are receiving a greater range of enquiries.
Recent examples include using drones for property boundary disputes, searching for missing pets and measuring the volume of waste for removal from a construction site.
Mark explains, “We have such a range of skills in the network I’m confident we can meet pretty much any demand. It’s not just about the expertise and equipment either – the size of the network means we can get an operator to any location in the UK within a day, often within hours.”
As well as photographers for hire, video production companies and training companies we now offer specialists such as heavy lift drones for hire. Our aerial photography stock library has hundreds of high-quality images and video clips ready for web designers, production companies and anyone needing off the shelf images.
Another new service that’s becoming popular is drone time-lapse recording. This is a great way to record something like progress on a construction project. A drone time-lapse specialist can advise you on the best way to go about this taking account of factors such as the weather, lighting and safety considerations.
Membership is expanding and the range of drone hire and related services is growing. 2020 is a very exciting year for Drone Safe Register!
