DJI Experience Centre
It’s almost three years to the day since Drone Safe Store was launched, and founder Mark Boyt and his team have now taken another leap forward to launch the UK’s first DJI Customer Experience Centre. The same ethos is the foundation of this new venture - delivering the best products available in the drone market with exceptional service and expertise.
Whilst many businesses were shutting down during the Covid-19 lockdown, Mark spotted a gap in the UK drone market and created Drone Safe Store. Online retailers were offering drones like the DJI Mavic, but there was no support or access to help and advice. ‘Pile ‘em high and sell them cheap’ doesn’t work for customers with a passion for a hobby like drone flying, or professional operators who use them to make a living. The venture quite literally took off, and since then has supplied over 10,000 customers and gained over 1.500 5-star reviews. Customers become part of a community when they buy, and they return when they want drone accessories and for advice about upgrading to newer models.
Where is the DJI Customer Experience Centre located?
The DJI Experience Centre is located in Chichester, West Sussex. Anyone who thinks face-to-face retail is dead thanks to the likes of Amazon will think again after a visit! Visitors are welcomed with fresh coffee and are able to see the latest drones on display. Experts with a passion for all things drone and aerial photography related are on hand, and it’s about help and advice with no pressure to buy. The reviews from Drone Safe Store say it all.
The icing on the cake at the DJI Experience Centre is the UK’s first drone demonstration cage. Here you can ‘try before you fly’ and learn tips and tricks before you place an order. Initial feedback on this has been fantastic and it’s another feature that makes this such a unique experience. In person events are planned with visitors from DJI and leading experts on hand to answer questions and offer tips and advice. There will be notice of new products and the opportunity to pre-order and be the first to pick up the latest DJI drones and accessories.
The launch of the DJI Experience Centre is another customer focussed innovation from the Drone Safe Register team but this is still just the start of the journey!
