Drone Safe Register Members Captures Video For £28,000,000 Felpham Relief Road

The Felpham Relief Road opening to the public on Friday 4th March.

This week, one of the hundreds of commercial drone operators in our commercial drone operator network captured a stunning aerial video of the new Felpham Relief Road in West Sussex.

The road - built by Barratt Homes - connects the A29 at Shripney, just north of Bognor Regis, to the A259 at Felpham.  With this additional relief road, commuters can expect to save around 30-45 minutes time on their journeys at peak times.

Key Facts:

  • 1.89 miles long;

  • Single carriageway with 50mph limit

  • Cost £28m to construct which was funded solely by Barratt Homes

  • Build time – 60 mths.
